Storyline We Are Mari Pepa
The story of Alex, a 16 year old teenager living with his grandma.He has various plans for the summer: writing a new song with his rock band, finding a job and having his first sexual experience. 2.5 - Just like being an awkward adolescent forming a band and trying to get laid, "We Are Mari Pepa" has it's fun and exciting moments and a lot of boredom to spare. But Samuel Kishi's effort is so fucking honest and breathable that you can't really blame him for the parade of predictiveness that ensues. Kudos to the editing.
